Job Summary :

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Production Line Leader to oversee and enhance the operations of our production bays. The primary purpose of this role is to increase efficiency and productivity on the production lines while ensuring a safe and quality-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Oversight of Bays : Manage daily operations across assigned production bays, ensuring seamless workflow and coordination.
Efficiency and Productivity : Focus on improving production efficiency and maximizing productivity on the lines through effective leadership and problem-solving.
Downtime and Overtime Management : Monitor production processes to minimize downtime and effectively manage overtime as needed to meet production goals.
Quality Assurance : Ensure that all products meet quality standards by implementing and enforcing quality control measures throughout the production process.
Resource Management : Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure that all materials and resources are prepared and available for seamless production operations.
Safe Practices : Promote and enforce safe work practices among team members to create a safe working environment for all.
Support for Welders : Ensure welders are focused on their tasks by providing necessary support and addressing any barriers that may impact their work efficiency.

Qualifications :

Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with a focus on efficiency improvement and productivity enhancement.

Familiarity with welding processes and quality standards in a production setting is a plus.

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to promote teamwork and collaboration among team members.

Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming production obstacles.

Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in manufacturing.

Education :

High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in operations management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
