Roadside Assistance Technician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical background and be proficient in using various tools and equipment. This role involves performing jump starts, fuel deliveries, tire changes, and lock out services. This is a 1099 contract position. This position is for a 4 day work week with the option for more days and hours if wanted. We operate 7 days per week, from 5am to 10pm. Pay is weekly, via direct deposit.

Responsibilities

• Perform jump starts, tire changes, fuel deliveries, and lock on services for stranded motorists.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic instruments.
• Be willing and able to perform needed services in inclement weather, as well as in parking lots, driveways, and on the side of various highways.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Must have a dependable vehicle.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must speak fluent English.
• Must have or be willing to obtain required tools.
• Must have working smart phone to run apps for service calls.

Skills

• Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools for various mechanical tasks.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose issues effectively.
• Experience with vehicle maintenance is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
