What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Operations position at Superba Food + Bread?
We are a company of 5 uniquely designed and soulfully managed cafes and full-service restaurants plus a commercial bakery. Over the next several years, Superba will continue to grow to new neighborhoods in Southern California. ABOUT YOU:
You are a passionate leader with at least 3 years of Director experience overseeing no less than 4 restaurants (can be multiple locations of a single concept or multiple concepts). You will bring energy and enthusiasm to the work. You will have a proven track record of building teams. You are a self-starter capable of setting operational and financial goals, and then actualizing results. You can think and act both tactically and strategically. We foster a collaborative environment with all our top leaders. You will report directly to our Vice President of Operations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- As Director of Operations, you play an integral role in the company's strategic plan.
- You will lead all aspects of talent management, including recruitment, training, and ongoing professional development.
- You will oversee all food and drink programming and development.
- You are responsible for maintaining and incrementally improving all aspects of operations: food and beverage quality and consistency, service excellence, and financial results.
- You will assimilate to our systems and bring some new approaches to how we do things.
- You will always seek to improve the company and outperform prior results.
WHAT WE OFFER:
- Compensation ranges from $150,000 to $170,000
