Director of Operations

We are a company of 5 uniquely designed and soulfully managed full-service restaurants, cafes, plus a commercial bakery. Over the next several years, Superba will continue to grow to new neighborhoods in Southern California. We are committed to chef and product-driven food, craft coffee, warm hospitality, and unique and cutting-edge design. Our menu is driven by the seasons, vegetable-forward, and emphasizes clean and healthy techniques combined with years of baking know-how. ABOUT YOU:

You are a passionate leader with at least 3 years of Director experience overseeing no less than 4 restaurants (can be multiple locations of a single concept or multiple concepts). You will bring energy and enthusiasm to the work. You will have a proven track record of building teams. You are a self-starter capable of setting operational and financial goals, and then actualizing results. You can think and act both tactically and strategically. We foster a collaborative environment with all our top leaders. You will report directly to our Vice President of Operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• As Director of Operations, you play an integral role in the company's strategic plan.
• You will lead all aspects of talent management, including recruitment, training, and ongoing professional development.
• You will oversee all food and drink programming and development.
• You are responsible for maintaining and incrementally improving all aspects of operations: food and beverage quality and consistency, service excellence, and financial results.
• You will assimilate to our systems and bring some new approaches to how we do things.
• You will always seek to improve the company and outperform prior results.
