Position - RN Chronic Dialysis
Location - Joilet IL
Shift - 3x12's
Days - MWF
Contract length - 13 weeks with possible extension
Duties
- Administer dialysis treatments to patients, monitoring their condition throughout the process.
- Perform catheter care and IV insertion as required, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Assess and document vital signs, recognizing any changes in patient status that may require intervention.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding dialysis procedures and home care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care and safety.
- Assist in critical care transport when necessary, ensuring safe transfer of patients.
Experience
- 1 year or more CURRENT Dialysis experience - Required
- Copy of Current, Valid Driver License - Required
- Geriatric patient experience - Required
- NXStage Dialysis Machine experience - REQUIRED,
