General job duties. Types of procedures required. All technical services related to dialysis. Includes all dialysis equipment, water system and all dialysis related equipment. Provides patient care under the supervision of the RN within the ND dialysis technician scope of practice. Equipment utilized in the unit / dept. B Braun hemodialysis machine, Epic computer systems. All related patient care equipment. Required skills and minimum years of experience. Must be CCHT certified with a minimum of 2 years hemodialysis experience. Specific licensures and certifications / registrations required. BLS Shift or schedule requirements. Variety of shifts including Monday-Saturday open (beginning at 0400 am) and closing shifts (until 8 pm) as directed by Charge RN. Every other Saturday is required. Techs do not take call. Floating to other units / departments. May work In acute unit or Vibra with RN supervision if needed. Bed size / number of rooms for this unit / dept. Chronic 24 chair unit Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. Ratio is 1 nurse or tech to every 4 patients. Dress code : Gray scrubs and appropriate footwear Tell us about the unit / department specific training and orientation program. Traveler / technician will be assigned a CCHT or RN preceptor who will evaluate skills and complete a dialysis specific checklist before independent tasks are performed.
Comments : 12 hour shifts. 0400-1630, 0700-1930, 0800-2030 based on need. Willing to take a local candidate! LOCAL RATES (80mi Radius)- will be xx8 less for Bill Rate
