Job description
- Position - LPN - Acute Care
- Location - Rapid City, SD
- Shift - Variable shift but primarily nights - 3*12
- Weekend Requirement - Every Other Weekend
- Hours - 36 hours per week
- Travel Pay: $2150/36 hours
- Contract Length - 13 weeks
- Start Date - 30th Dec or 6th Jan
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in various healthcare facilities
- Primary focus will be behavioral health patients.
- Secondarily will float through the ED helping with tasks within scope of practice.
- Will potentially float to inpatient areas to tasks within scope of practice.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the medical team
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare plans and procedure
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
- 2 years LPN experience in any acute care setting (Medical, BH, or PCU,CCU etc) - Required
- EPIC EMR
- Emergency Department Experience - A plus
- Updated Resume - Required
- SD/Compact LPN
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS & PALS - Required or Willing to obtain

Ability to Relocate:
- Rapid City, SD: Relocate before starting work (Required)
