Social Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team. • Facilitate group therapy sessions for various populations, including geriatrics and individuals with disabilities.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, community organizations, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to empower clients in their recovery journey.
• Stay informed about medical terminology relevant to client care and treatment options available.
• Advocate for clients' rights and access to services, ensuring they receive the support they need.

Skills

• Proficiency in medical terminology related to social work practices.
• Experience in group therapy facilitation and individual counseling techniques.
• Knowledge of geriatric care principles and mental health counseling practices.
• Familiarity with psychopharmacology as it relates to mental health treatment.
• Strong motivational interviewing skills to encourage client engagement and progress.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities, providing tailored support as needed.
