We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality care to patients in critical situations.
Job Details:
Position: RN Emergency Room
Location: Spearfish, SD 57783
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 36 hours, Variable.
Required:
- Minimum 1.5 year of experience required as RN Emergency Room
- BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS, NIHSS (preferred), CPI (preferred)
- Travelers must live >100 miles away from facility.
- Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing; Registered Nurse (RN) - South Dakota Board of Nursing
- General ED experience, critical care experience for ICU holds, Trauma experience
- Comfortability to work all care areas to include ED, ICU and Med Surg.
- EPIC required.
Duties:
- Provide direct patient care in emergency situations
- Assess patient conditions and implement appropriate nursing interventions
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and progress
- Assist in emergency procedures such as intubation, CPR, and wound care
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
