Sports Coach & Facility Coordinator

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sports Coach & Facility Coordinator to join our team at Superdome Northvale. This role is ideal for someone passionate about sports, skilled in coaching, and eager to help grow our programs. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing and leading sports classes, running birthday parties and camps, and helping manage facility operations to ensure an outstanding experience for all participants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead engaging sports classes in basketball, soccer, multi-sport, and other athletic programs for kids and athletes of all levels.
- Coordinate and facilitate birthday parties and camps, ensuring a fun, structured, and memorable experience.
- Assist in managing daily facility operations, including class scheduling, event coordination, and ensuring a smooth experience for guests.
- Monitor athlete and participant progress, providing encouragement, skill-building instruction, and fostering a positive sports environment.
- Promote teamwork and sportsmanship, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive space for all participants.
- Maintain safety protocols and oversee facility and equipment upkeep.
- Engage with parents and guardians, providing updates on classes, programs, and participant progress.
Qualifications:
- Experience in sports coaching, particularly with youth programs in basketball, soccer, or multi-sport training.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills to help grow classes, camps, and birthday party offerings.
- Experience in event coordination, child engagement, or facility management is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while also leading independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with kids, parents, and staff.
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus but not required.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
