Qualifications
- The ability to competently perform all the essential duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation, demonstrated commitment to effective customer service delivery, integrity, and the ability to work productively as a member of a team or work group are basic requirements of all positions at Central Fire Protection, Inc.
- If required to make deliveries:
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must pass a pre-employment and annual review of their Motor Vehicle Record
- Must not have had a suspended drivers’ license for a traffic accident/violation within the past 3 years
- Must not have any at fault accidents in the past 3 years
- Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and customers
- Ability to handle basic issues and problems
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations to accurately complete job tasks
- Ability to organize and prioritize job tasks and requirements
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Basic Automotive knowledge – including, but not limited to, oil changes, tire mount/dismount, brake pad replacement, etc.
- Sit: Must be able to remain in a stationary position Occasionally – up to 20%
- Walk: Must be able to move about inside/outside office or work location Constantly – at least 51%

Responsibilities
- The Warehouse Associate is responsible for efficiently and accurately filling orders, receiving, stocking, and staging material in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, accuracy, and productivity
- Responsible for all warehouse transactions, as well as the upkeep and maintenance of the warehouse environment and equipment
- Contribute to a culture and environment focused daily on employee safety and a safe work environment
- Follow established Standard Operating Procedures, Environmental Health and Safety Rules, and immediately address safety concerns
- Receive material coming into the building by vendors, customers, or other warehouses
- Verify the quantity and description of materials received by checking merchandise against the packing list
- Keep incoming orders stocked on shelves orderly and in designated areas and reports freight damage claims
- Operate machinery including forklift and wire cutting machine when required
- Load common carrier and company vehicles
- Inspect and perform minor maintenance on equipment
- Perform inventory counts and reconcile any discrepancies
- Assist with other warehouse or branch duties as needed
- Other duties as assigned
