We're looking for a skilled and dedicated Security Systems Technician to join our team and contribute to creating safer environments for our customers.
Duties:
- Install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems, including monitored alarm and security systems, surveillance cameras, and intercom/access control systems.
- Design and layout surveillance and intercom access control low voltage systems.
- Conduct site surveys to assess installation requirements, identify potential issues, and collaborate with customers on-site.
- Install and terminate low voltage wiring and cabling for various systems.
- Test and troubleshoot low voltage systems to ensure optimal functionality.
- Provide technical support and assistance to customers as needed.
- Collaborate with other technicians and team members to complete projects efficiently and on time.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Low Voltage Technician or in a related role.
- Extensive knowledge of low voltage systems, including CCTV, fire alarms, access control, and computer networking.
- Experience with installing electric strikes, mag locks, exit buttons, motion REX, and other door access control solutions.
- Familiarity with intercom systems such as Aiphone, Comelit, Akuvox, and 2N.
- Knowledge of surveillance systems such as HIKVISION, DAHUA, Alibi, and Uniview.
- Proficiency in using software platforms for surveillance systems, as well as platforms like Alarm.com and Brivo, is required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams is an advantage.
- Proven field service experience and ability to provide on-site support to customers.
- Familiarity with relevant electrical codes and regulations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to detect, test, and resolve issues effectively.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $30.00 - $75.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
