Description
The Animal Health Intern will assist our Feed Mill team, our Feed Store team, and our Sales team in day-to-day operations and special projects or assignments.
The Animal Health Intern will have the following responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day operations
- Customer interaction on sales calls
- Assist with sales and marketing feed projects
- Assist with recordkeeping and office support assignments
- Attend required feed meetings
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Complete an assigned project and create a presentation at the end of the internship
Requirements
The Animal Health Intern must meet the following requirements:
- Full-time registered student majoring in an animal health discipline.
- a minimum of 18 years of age.
- Meets work eligibility requirements of the Immigration and Naturalization Service and a permanent resident of the USA.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Capable of performing the essential functions and duties outlined in the job description.
- Favorable background checks results.
- Occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.
