Superior Industrial Fire Services, Inc. is a subsidiary of Superior Air-Ground Ambulance Services, Inc. We contract with local municipalities and industrial sites to provide Emergency Medical Services, Rescue and/or Fire Services. - Maintain Wood River Refinery Safety Training annually.
- Maintain CPR/AED certification, renewed as needed.
- Answer non-emergency phones using quality Customer Service to assist callers with proper information and guidance.
- Answer Emergency Response phone lines in a calm, courteous, and professional manner using outlined protocols.
- Obtain all necessary information from telephone callers to determine the incident location and proper response/resources from emergency response teams.
- Monitor and operate two-way radio communications.
- Dispatch security and emergency response personnel as needed.
- Notifies appropriate command staff and assets during emergency events.
- Monitor and operate multiple computer systems in dispatch console.
- Monitor and operate closed circuit camera systems.
- Maintain situational awareness of local weather events, resource status, significant incidents, planned events, etc.
- Process and complete daily shift reports and file appropriately.
- Follows directions and instructions given by supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in offices and waiting areas.
- Communicate any deficiencies, safety concerns, incidents to assigned supervisor.
- Verify Identification, Background check, Drug Test Status, Compliance Training and modify/update badges as needed for existing contractors
- Complete all assigned tasks provided by supervisor.
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years or older
- Must possess High School diploma or equivalent
- Must possess valid Driver’s License
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Successful completion of pre-employment Safety Training
- Must obtain Transportation Workers’ Identification Card (TWIC)
- Must have at least one (1) year of data entry, dispatching, or other telecommunications experience
- Must have ability to speak clearly and concisely, providing detailed information under stressful circumstances.
- Must obtain within 6 months of hire date
