Job Summary
The dispatcher is responsible for upping calls, answering overflow call volume, assist in overseeing and maintaining the status’ of the gantt, assisting with giving out appropriate ETA’s, triaging ambulance response, and act as support to customer service representatives.
Wage Range: $20 - $22 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications:
While performing the duties of the position, the employee is required to sit for long periods of time. Employee will be required to listen to radio traffic/PTT, communicate over the phone as well as monitor and respond to all chat messages, and ability to type is required.
Employee should be able to work under stressful conditions.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of the job, the employee has verbal contact with others and constantly works face to face with and around others. Consistently uses office equipment such as computer, radios, printers, fax machine, ect.

- Communicate issues to marketing, management, and customers as necessary
- Assist EMT’s and Paramedics with directions as necessary
- Maintain appropriate status of crews at all times
- Assist in receiving and entering in request for ambulance or medicar service as necessary
- Communicate patient diversions and keep all appropriate associated records
- Assisting crews in certain situations or directing them to the appropriate person
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:

- Multi-tasking ability
- Effective communication skills
- EMD license
