What are the responsibilities and job description for the 3RD SHIFT GRADER position at Superior Aluminum Alloys?
Overview :
Performs various jobs in foundry concerned with the receipt of scrap material including weighing, transporting, dumping, storing and identifying.
Responsibilities :
- Understand and participate in TAKE CONTROL of SAFETY
- Operates mobile equipment such as : pay loaders, forklifts, and skid steers
- Identify material for accuracy and identification
- Weighs material by use of scales
- Marks and identifies material for processing
- Handles a portion of maintaining of equipment by the process of Preventative Maintenance
- Assist with processing of scrap through shredder or dryer.
- Transports and stages material before and after processing procedure
- Loads and unloads materials, parts, or products onto or from pallets, skids, conveyors, or trucks.
- Tests material as needed.
- Assists with housekeeping standards for the area
