Systems Operator
Overview:
Superior Beverage Group is seeking a dedicated 2nd Shift Systems Operator to oversee and manage the efficient flow of product using Vertique Pick Software (VPS). This role ensures smooth system operations, optimizes associate allocation, and maintains consistent productivity throughout the warehouse.
Schedule
Monday - Friday (4pm -completion, Average 45 hour weeks)

Qualifications
Qualifications & Skills:
- Above-average math and analytical skills.
- Strong leadership with problem-solving and organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of product labels, code dates, and warehouse procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and recognize mechanical issues.
- Demonstrated capability to support cross-functional teams and departments.
- Physically able to maneuver 35-pound cases regularly.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and adherence to safety protocols.
- Familiarity with tier 1 or tier 2 warehouse management systems is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks involving lifting, bending, and full-body movement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify system out-of-stocks and bottlenecks, implementing necessary changes.
- Collaborate with warehouse managers and associates to allocate staffing effectively.
- Monitor system productivity and performance, making data-driven adjustments as needed.
- Run reports to identify opportunities for staffing improvements and product adjustments.
- Conduct training on all Vertique positions to ensure team proficiency.
- Support and fill in various Vertique positions when required.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and assist in corrective actions.
- Aid warehouse management in daily supervision and associate allocation.
- Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration among associates.
