What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inspector position at Superior Built Roofing?
Job Summary
Superior Built Roofing is a family owned and operated company with a 28 year history of always doing the right thing for both our customers and team members. We are currently seeking a professional and responsible field technician who will be responsible for about three different primary functions.
This is a physical position. Must be able to lift/move up to 80 pounds as needed for job duties.
Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site assessments and inspections for clients. This includes in attic inspections which require good physical shape and climbing through tight spaces in hot conditions.
- Run materials to and from jobsites using a company vehicle.
- Follow up with customers to ensure they received internal estimates, set appointments to bring samples and any materials customers may need.
- Provide exceptional customer support by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience for all clients.
- Assist with production by running materials as needed during the course of builds.
- Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with clients in various settings, ensuring clear communication at all times.
- Document service activities and report findings to management as needed.
- Assist the sales and production team as needed.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in English is required; bilingual or multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication and people skills with a professional outward appearance.
- Experience in customer service or client support roles is preferred, demonstrating a commitment to helping customers.
- Familiarity with office software applications for data entry and reporting purposes.
- Previous experience in sales or client services is a plus, showcasing an ability to engage effectively with clients. This is not a sales position.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively across diverse audiences.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to perform in attic inspections. Can train but must be in good physical shape with strong skills related to basic construction.

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
