Essential Functions
No direct reports.
Work Environment
This is a field-based role. Employees will be working on heavy civil and highway construction sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. The position regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.
Physical Demands
The position lifts heavy objects, walks and stands for long periods, and performs physical labor under adverse field conditions. The employee lifts, pushes, pulls, or carries objects and uses abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. The position requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multilimbed coordination. The employee must have excellent stamina.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. This position will occasionally require long hours and weekend work.

Essential Functions
- Operate heavy equipment in compliance with the company's operating safety policies and procedures
- Ensure company equipment and materials are maintained, kept clean, and stored in a safe manner
- Check filters and grease equipment
- Observe the distribution of paving material to adjust machine settings or material flow and indicate low spots for workers to add material.
- Keep work area and equipment clean by collecting and disposing of scrap and excess materials.
- Proactively communicate with foreman, superintendent, and coworkers
- Properly follow all company policies and OSHA regulations for safe working procedures and the environment.

- Must adhere to OSHA safety protocol, and work in a drug-free environment.
- Must be reliable/have reliable transportation.
- 2-4 Years of Operating Experience Preferred.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver’s license before employment.
