Employee will be working on heavy civil and highway construction sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. The position regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to navigate rugged terrain, climb substantial heights, and work over and on water.
The position requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multilimbed coordination. The employee must have excellent stamina.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time exempt position. This position sometimes requires long hours, holidays and weekend work.
Travel
The role could require regional travel within the assigned Division.

- Develop and implement project execution strategies
- Manage project performance and provide leadership and support
- Develop project teams and cultivate talent
- Become an expert and trusted resource to our clients at the project level
- Managing a team while also producing high-quality deliverables, while meeting financial targets
- Full project P&L responsibility
- Foster and maintain favorable relationships with project stakeholders
- Work with local governments and DOT’s to deliver projects
- Market and promote the Superior Construction brand
- Support divisional pursuits and growth strategies
- Foster and maintain a safe work environment
- Assist with the leadership and development of team members

Required Education And Experience
- BS Construction, Engineering, or other relevant fields of study
- Minimum five years of industry tenure post graduation
- Significant field-based project execution experience
- Progressive field-based leadership roles
- Safety Trained Supervisor Construction Certification
- Viewpoint experience a plus
- Emphasis in Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), municipal engineering and local government is preferred
- Knowledge of the estimating process
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver’s license before employment.
