Job Description
The Foreman will directly supervise and coordinate the activities of the crew and may also engage in the trade work of the employees being supervised.
Qualified applicants will have experience working on Heavy Civil, Roadway, or Bridge Projects.
Applicant must be familiar with working from heights and/or Manlifts. Must be able to work as part of a team to accomplish a common goal.
Essential Functions

Work Environment
This is field field-based role. Employees will be working on heavy civil and highway construction sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
The position regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.
Physical Demands
The position lifts heavy objects, walks and stands for long periods, and performs physical labor under adverse field conditions. The employee lifts, pushes, pulls, or carries objects and uses abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue.
The position requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multilimbed coordination.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. This position will occasionally require long hours and weekend work.
Travel
The role requires no travel.

- Experienced with all types of heavy equipment for dirt and site projects
- Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
- Review estimates and understand costs production, and schedules before starting
- Responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily work for various construction trade crews
- Reports on time and materials
- Ensure construction per plan requirements.
- Maintain accurate reporting records including job quantities, time sheets, and daily management reports.
- Understand and comply with all Company Safety policies and procedures as well as OSHA Regulations.
- Assists with loading and unloading trucks & deliveries.

Required Education And Experience
- 3-5 years of roadway foreman experience.
- Must adhere to OSHA safety protocol, and work in a drug-free environment
- Must be reliable/have reliable transportation
- Construction industry experience preferred
- Takes full ownership of assigned projects and can work independently
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver’s license before employment.
