Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Outside Sales Representative based in South Georgia to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by establishing and maintaining relationships with clients in your assigned territory. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in outside sales, with experience in the construction industry being a significant advantage. You will be expected to leverage your skills in lead generation and negotiation to meet and exceed sales targets.
Duties
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve territory sales goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation techniques.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new prospects.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase our offerings effectively.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the sales management team to align strategies and share market insights.
- Utilize software tools for tracking sales activities, managing customer information, and reporting on performance metrics.
- Attend industry events and networking functions to promote our brand and expand your professional network.
- Work directly with the internal logistics team on all deliveries.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in outside sales or direct sales roles, preferably within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of territory sales strategies and lead generation processes.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to manage complex sales cycles.
- Familiarity with software tools used for sales management and customer relationship management (CRM).
- Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on building rapport with clients.
- A results-oriented mindset with a passion for achieving targets and driving business growth.
- Possess an understanding of the importance of confidentiality.
- Ability to multi-task and excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to provide at least three personal references and two professional references.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Primarily Outlook and Excel)
