Superior Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing, Inc. is a statewide service provider specializing in commercial skilled trade services.
We are currently seeking an experienced Hydro Jet Technician to join our commercial service team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating high-pressure water jetting equipment to clean various plumbing lines and perform waste removal at job sites throughout Central and Northern California. This is a third-shift position with a regular schedule of Tuesday through Saturday.
Responsibilities
- Perform hydro jetting services on sanitary sewer lines, grease interceptors/traps, drain branch lines, storm drains and roof drains
- Inspect plumbing systems to identify blockages and other issues
- Operate sewer cameras; camera location skills are plus but not required
- Maintain and service equipment to ensure readiness for each job
- Communicate effectively with customers, dispatch, and department managers regarding job status and progress
- Complete accurate documentation for service calls and vehicle usage
- Adhere to all safety protocols and demonstrate safe work practices at all times
- Assist in coaching and training apprentices or helpers on best practices
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Minimum of two years of experience in commercial hydro jetting or service plumbing
- Proficient in English with basic computer literacy, including the use of mobile communication and email applications
- Possess an insurable driving record (valid driver’s license with no more than two points)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
- Available to work third shift, Tuesday through Saturday
