Description:
We are seeking a organized and detail-oriented Construction Equipment Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have knowledge about construction equipment and assist with coordinating the logistics of construction equipment while supporting daily warehouse operations with various administrative task.
Responsibilities
- Manage the allocation of construction equipment to various job sites, ensuring that equipment is available when needed
- Order rental equipment as needed from approved vendors
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained and compliant within CALOSHA regulations and company safety standards
- Provide administrative support to the fleet department
- Drive company vehicles within department policies
- Conduct monthly warehouse inventories
- Collaborate with purchasing and account payables to obtain purchase orders and estimated arrivals on material or equipment
- Will be assigned additional clerical duties
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule
- Two or more years of experience in construction warehousing, construction tools or equipment rentals
- Above average administrative skills
- Type 40 word per minute or more
- Available to work a flexible schedule
- Insurable driving record
- Pass a pre-employment drug test
