Description
As a material handler, you will process incoming and outgoing commercial electrical wholesale parts and material. The ideal candidate will have recent work experience within the commercial electrical wholesale supply chain, previous electrical installation experience and knowledge about various commercial electrical materials. The work schedule for the material handler is Monday to Friday 7 a.m. to 3 : 30 p.m.
Responsibilities
- Receive, store and distribute electrical construction materials, tools, equipment, and products
- Verify and maintain records of incoming and outgoing shipments
- Perform physical labor to load and unload trucks, containers, and pallets using appropriate equipment
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Perform inventory counts and replenish stock
- Deliver or retrieve materials as needed using company vehicles
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Ensure department compliance is being practiced within safety regulations and guidelines
- Other warehouse duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed to support the operations of the department
