Description
We are seeking an experienced Service Plumbing Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a knowledge of service plumbing installation, materials and plumbing code requirements with experience processing accurate and competitive estimates for various service projects. This position will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of competitive project estimates and change orders of various commercial projects.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit plumbing proposals within the scope of commercial projects under the direction of management
- Interpret and review blueprints, project schematics and / or specifications to determine material and labor requirements
- Reference pricing quotes from internal departments, suppliers and subcontractors
- Process a high volume of data entry to maintain and update estimating software and databases
- Continuously apply new industry trends, materials, and best practices into estimates
- Assist with processing commercial estimates for the maintenance department
- Will be assigned additional clerical duties as needed to support the department
