Superior Electrical, Mechanical and Plumbing Inc. specializes in commercial construction throughout Southern California. The Electrical Foreman is responsible for planning and supervising commercial electrical installation from the direction of project management. As a Foreman you will work your tools a portion of the day while overseeing journeyman and apprentices.
Scope of work
- Supervise the commercial production of electrical journeyman and apprentices
- Interpret blueprints, schematics or plans and layout work for journeyman and apprentices
- Perform tool-box talks and training to electrical apprentices and/or journeyman
- Install commercial electrical equipment and fixtures
- Install various types of conduit, raceway and cable tray systems
- Experience with refrigeration motor control, Ansul and EMS preferred
- Knowledge of retail new construction and/or tenant improvement projects is desired
- Troubleshoot motor control systems
- May be asked to work in confined spaces
- Perform work from ladders, man lifts and/or during inclement weather
- Communicate with project managers and safety teams regarding jobsite progress
- Demonstrate and enforce quality electrical journeyman installation and jobsite safety
- 6 or more years of experience as a commercial electrical journeyman with a minimum of 2 years of foreman experience preferably from retail construction projects
- Above average troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Valid driver license with the ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and a motor vehicle background check
- English literacy skills for requirement to communicate with management by email, phone calls or text messages
- Must be available to work nights or travel as needed

Salary : $40 - $45
