Position Summary
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure all customer SOPS are followed in regards to expectations of how to handle materials.
- Maintain customer brand protection by verifying all proper parts are destroyed.
- Understand and help coach supervisors to follow proper LPS protocols, spot check LPSA conversations, and share LPO feedback with supervisor and associates understand system.
- Maintain proper key metrics surrounding: Safety and LPS, KPIs and retention, and AEBITDA.
- Understands customer’s (Honda, Mobis, VW, special customers, etc.) specific requirements.
- Knowledge of all production line requirements and goals (i.e., Disassembly, Warranty, Destroy, Metals, Plastic, etc.).
- Clear understanding of the operations of equipment (Balers, Forklifts, Compactor) and daily schedule of Incoming/Outgoing product.
- Maintains warehouse in an organized and clean manner.
- Maintain EHS and compliance requirements on monthly basis.
- Understand and support WMS reporting (billing, labor, inventory, equipment, etc.).
- Support continual improvement / operations efficiency: Creates/maintains Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
- Manage direct reports: Ensures staff adheres to all safety and PPE regulations, Monitors breaktimes to ensure they are timely, Ensures staff is properly trained on equipment before operating, Trains and coaches staff to meet performance goals, documents performance challenges accordingly and addresses with manager; conducts 90- Day and Annual performance reviews, as scheduled, Assigns staff daily work to maximize personnel/production efficiency and ensure the appropriate staff count is maintained, Plans and coordinates daily Team/Staff meetings.
- Record & report any employee issues to supervisor and HR.
- Track ADP training for team on monthly basis.
- Completes weekly/monthly reports, as assigned.
- Forecast monthly revenue and update weekly.
- Maintain regular communication with customers.
- Participates in feedback reports to customers.
- Schedule inbound shipments with customers.
- Create CODs and send to customers as needed.
- Schedule outbound shipments with vendors and receive and reconcile weight tickets from vendors.
- Schedule services with outside vendors as needed (ex. Fire extinguisher testing, forklift repairs, building maintenance, etc)
- Manages proper inventory levels of tools and supplies.
- Maintains open lines of communication with peers and upper management.
Experience and Education Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Valid Driver’s license.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse leadership role.
- Familiarity with the use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other necessary warehouse equipment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Should have excellent computer skills (email, Microsoft programs, Excel etc.).
- Team player.

- Excellent organization skills to be able to complete various forms, records, and reports.
- Attention to detail is a must, as you will be inspecting products and keeping detailed records.
Preferred
- Prior experience with automotive parts.
- Prior LPS experience or similar safety program.
- Accuracy with documenting material received, sent, and destroyed for billing purposes.
Job demands and work environment
- Frequent walking, standing, and sitting for extended periods.
- Occasional lifting and moving of equipment up to 25 lbs.
- Must wear all required Personal Protective Equipment including, but not limited to, safety glasses, cut resistant gloves/sleeve, retractable box cutters, will provide along with the necessary training to maintain a safe work environment.
- Must be able to work full time, extended shifts of up to 12 hours.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment, random, and or post-accident/injury substance abuse screening
- Must be able to work in a warehouse environment.
- Must be safety conscious and have a good work ethic; must wear all required Personal Protective Equipment including, but not limited to, safety glasses, cut resistant gloves/sleeve, retractable box cutters, will provide along with the necessary training to maintain a safe work environment.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment, random, and or post-accident/injury substance abuse screening.
