Position Summary
The Regional Recruiter will develop collaborative relationships with key partners to understand hiring objectives and develop recruiting strategies that enable SES to meet business objectives related to talent acquisition. This role will provide support to our field leadership team, HR & recruiting, and continuous improvement to support the continued growth of the business. The Regional Recruiter will be responsible for supporting and implementing effective talent acquisition plans, sourcing strategies, building a strong talent pipeline, and ensuring a positive candidate experience. This role will be responsible to support efforts to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the hiring process, assisting in improving the employer brand, enhancing the value proposition for perspective team members, and ensuring execution of talent acquisition strategies with company goals and growth projections. The Regional Recruiter will actively support all recruiting efforts for assigned geographical areas. The Regional Recruiter will complete weekly reporting and provide updates to recruiting metrics and key performance indicators. This position is a Full time in office role.
Primary responsibilities of the Regional Recruiter are to:
- Drive the recruitment process for assigned requisitions from initial discovery of job duties through employment offer and onboarding hand-off.
- Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports, as needed.
- Assist other recruiting team members in reaching hiring goals for the organization.
- Leverage recruitment technology and social media platforms to promote SES as an employer choice and build a pipeline of passive candidates.
- Partner with hiring managers to define the roles and use industry experience to create job descriptions, as needed.
- Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards and applicant tracking system.
- Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media etc.
- Conduct phone interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates based on job requirements.
- Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, experience, and aptitudes for current and future roles.
- Achieve staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates, advising managers on status.
- Monitor, recommend and apply recruiting best practices to SES hiring process.
- Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the hiring process.
- Maintain workplace confidentiality of all SES employment related information such as employee hourly rates paid/benefits and pre-employment check results on background checks/drug screens.
- Adhere to the highest standards of professional conduct by embodying respect for honesty, fairness, and the opinions of others, treating all with equality and dignity.
- May require overnight, out-of-town travel as determined by your Supervisor to support out-of-town SES operations.
- The Regional Recruiter will also undertake other responsibilities, duties and projects that may be assigned by SES from time to time.
Qualifications
- 3 year proven work experience as a Recruiter (either an in-house recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter)
- Demonstrated ability to achieve goals while working independently
- High school diploma
- Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- Outgoing personality with demonstrated ability to build strong relationships across diverse population of teams.
- Highly self-motivated and self-disciplined with ability to work effectively with little or no supervision.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong business software skills (Word, Excel and web-based systems).
- Ability to travel up to as needed to support hiring events and business needs in assigned geographic territory
