What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Delivery Driver position at Superior Equipment Sales, Inc.?
Superior Equipment Sales Inc., an independent HVAC equipment and supplies distributor, is seeking an experienced box truck driver to deliver HVAC equipment and supplies to contractors in Virginia. The job is based out of our branch in Richmond, VA and hours are daytime weekdays.

Job Requirements
- Pull orders as directed by sales/counter for customer tickets.
- Load and unload a 26” box truck while double-checking order accuracy and maintaining care that no items are damaged.
- Transport heavy items; operate various warehouse equipment such as a forklift or dolly when necessary.
- Deliver HVAC equipment/supplies to various job sites in a timely manner.
- Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
- Prepare paperwork and other documents relating to orders/deliveries.
Required Skills & Experience
- Must have at least 3 years of experience driving a 26” box truck with the ability to proficiently maneuver box trucks into loading or unloading positions.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and be able to provide a clean DMV record with no recent moving or driving violations (bring a copy of your driving record to your interview).
- Must have a current DOT physical (bring a copy to your interview).
- Willingness to adhere to any assigned routes, time schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.
- HVAC knowledge is preferred, but not required.
- Professional, self-motivated, team player with attention to detail.
- Strong time management skills and customer service experience preferred.
- Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.).
We offer competitive salaries and excellent benefits including a 401k, bonuses, and health and vacation packages. Drivers make a base salary of $15/hr with the option to earn more (up to ~$19/hr) based on deliveries made.
You must have at least 3 years of commercial box truck driving experience to be considered for this job. Please, no food delivery or Uber/Lyft drivers need apply.
