Our client, a well-established California-based labor and employment firm, is seeking to hire a Senior Attorney (3 years on the Plaintiff-side) with extensive Labor & Employment experience. The firm exclusively represents employees in both state and federal courts, as well as arbitrations, which are becoming increasingly common. The firm covers all types of claims, including wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, worker misclassification, clock/rest issues, etc.
The position requires an experienced attorney who is familiar with all stages of pre-litigation and litigation, however, will only focus on the pre-litigation stage. The Pre-Litigation Attorney will be instrumental in shaping the early stages of cases to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients. This position offers the unique opportunity to contribute to the firm's success while working with a talented team of attorneys.
The Attorney's responsibilities will also include recruiting, hiring, training, motivating, and developing associate attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to strengthen the firm's legal team, assisting with reviews and promotions, determining attorney salaries and billing rates, and making recommendations for improvement.
