Job Description: This is a great opportunity to work at a leading auto repair facility! As a Service Advisor, you will serve as the main point of contact between our customers and our repair team. You will assist customers with their automotive needs, provide accurate estimates, follow up on repair progress, and ensure all aspects of the service experience exceed customer expectations. In addition, you will play a key role in handling various administrative tasks, including data entry and phone inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner.
- Listen to customer concerns and communicate their automotive issues clearly to technicians.
- Provide accurate service and repair estimates to customers.
- Recommend additional services based on the customer’s vehicle needs and condition.
- Manage the repair process and ensure timely job completion.
- Follow up with customers on their vehicle status and any additional work required.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service details, and repairs.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and resolve them effectively.
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and follow up with customers.
- Perform data entry and ensure accurate customer and repair records are maintained.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Be proactive, responsible, and take ownership of tasks and customer interactions.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an auto repair shop or as a Service Advisor is preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
- Proactive, responsible, and detail-oriented.
- Strong computer skills, including experience with service management software.
- Excellent phone etiquette and ability to handle customer inquiries.
- Data entry experience and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Knowledge of automotive repair services and terminology is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work Monday through Friday.
