What You'll Do:
- Supervise Installation Teams: Oversee Lead Fence Installers in all aspects of their roles, ensuring they properly supervise their crews in moving supplies, assembling equipment, and building fencing structures.
- Manage Daily Operations: Assign tasks, provide guidance, and supervise crews to ensure installation jobs are completed efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure Safety & Compliance: Ensure that Leads and crews follow safety protocols and operate equipment and tools properly.
- Weekly Install Meetings: Conduct weekly meetings to review operations, share important information, and maintain a continuous install pipeline by collaborating closely with Sales and Production teams.
- Maintain Quality Standards: Ensure that customer satisfaction remains at or above 96% by delivering high-quality installations and addressing any warranty or repair issues.
- Oversee Installer Schedules & Pay: Manage installer schedules, monitor performance, and ensure Installers are compensated fairly while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
- Develop Expertise: Build deep knowledge of product, technical, and industry processes, and continuously seek ways to improve operations.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate professionally with customers, ensuring their satisfaction with each job and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Use Fence360 Software: Keep Fence360 updated with project statuses and relevant information to ensure smooth operations.
- Support Recruitment & Coaching: Assist with recruiting new Installers, providing coaching, and ensuring the team maintains high standards of performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure Lead Installers and their crews are equipped with the right tools, materials, and guidance for each job.
- Oversee installation locations, ensuring proper site preparation and adherence to instructions, drawings, and specifications.
- Maintain and manage installer scheduling, pay, coaching, and recruitment.
- Monitor job performance and workflow to turn projects efficiently while ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Conduct quality control checks and supervise warranty and repair work to ensure customer issues are resolved quickly and effectively.
- Continuously seek ways to improve processes and team performance to meet company standards.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven Experience: At least 3 years of experience in field operations, construction, or team management, preferably in an installation or construction setting.
- Leadership Skills: A natural leader with strong supervisory abilities to motivate, coach, and guide teams to success.
- Customer-Focused: A commitment to maintaining high customer satisfaction, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, schedules, and priorities effectively.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with installation processes, equipment operation, and industry best practices.
- Physical Ability: Comfortable working outdoors, operating machinery, and overseeing various weather conditions.
