Job Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Production Specialist to manage our inventory, shipping, and receiving processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory management, shipping and receiving, and packing and unpacking products. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with occasional overtime as needed. Pay starts at $20-$25 per hour, based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pull orders and ensure all jobs are loaded correctly.
- Manage and organize the warehouse, including inventory, products, and packing materials.
- Receive and inspect incoming products for order accuracy and quality standards.
- Ensure accurate inventory counts and document all movement of products in and out of the warehouse.
- Pack and unpack products for shipping and/or storage.
- Keep the shop and yard clean and orderly.
- Operate a CNC router.
- Perform welding tasks (depending on candidate's capabilities).
- Meet safety, productivity, and quality standards set by Superior Fence & Rail.
- Assist in other warehouse tasks as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or in the fencing industry.
- Knowledge of inventory management and shipping and receiving processes.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately.
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 80 pounds.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Pass background check and drug screening.
- Reliable transportation.
- Forklift experience and license preferred.
- Ability to drive a pickup truck with a 20 foot trailer.
