Summary:
We are seeking a driven and customer-focused Fence Sales Consultant to join our thriving team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales, with significant experience in outside sales and preferably within the home improvement industry. This role involves conducting in-home consultations and closing sales for a variety of fence products and services. The majority of leads are supplied through partnerships with a national home improvement chain, home builders, and general contractors, giving us a significant advantage over our competitors. Job Responsibilities:
- Master the Superior Fence & Rail Sales Process: Learn and adopt our structured selling process and complete all required training.
- Proactively generate and manage leads through a variety of channels, including networking, referrals, company-provided leads, and self-generated opportunities.
- Conduct professional in-home consultations to assess needs and present tailored fence solutions.
- Deliver persuasive quotes outlining project scope, options, and pricing.
- Maintain expert product knowledge and stay informed about industry trends.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Learn and utilize Superior Fence & Rail's software for lead management, estimating, and sales tracking.
- Professionally collaborate with office and installation teams to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience from initial consultation to project completion.
- Consistently meet or exceed established key performance indicators (KPIs) for sales conversion rates, appointments completed, and monthly sales targets.
Job Requirements:
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of proven success in Outside Sales required; 1-2 years of In-Home Sales preferred.
- Experience in the home improvement industry is a plus.
- Proven track record of lead generation, sales presentations, and closing techniques.
- Knowledge of fence products and installation processes is a plus.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
- Proficient in using Google Workspace (e.g., Calendar, Sheets, Gmail, Drive).
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to safely drive several hours a day.
- Ability to effectively manage time going to new appointments and dealing with existing customers.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using various software and applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address customer challenges and objections.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Salary and Benefits:
- 100% commission-based pay structure.
- Earning potential ranges from $70,000 to $160,000 per year, commensurate with sales volume.
