Superior Fence & Rail is a fence industry leader that is currently seeking an experienced Fence Sales Consultant for immediate hire. This is a sales commission opportunity in which compensation is determined solely by the success of the individual Sales Consultant. No cold calling - leads are supplied through partnerships with a national home improvement chain and multiple home builders and general contractors. Massive sales advantage on competitors.
Paid training for 6 - 8 weeks. Pay ranges from $60,000 to $120,000 per year. Laptop and phone provided after the training period is completed. Vehicle and gas card provided between 30-90 days after the training period has been completed. The Office for this position is located in Gulfport, MS but will be responsible for Gulfport to Covington Territory. (candidate would be required to drive 100 mile radius in any direction); so the candidate needs to live in this general area and willing to travel for sales appointments.
Job Responsibilities
- Learn and adopt Superior Fence & Rail's structured selling process and complete required training
- Present and sell the features and benefits of Superior Fence & Rail products
- Continually prospect for new customers through networking, referrals, and effective follow-up
- Set and maintain the required number of appointments to meet/exceed sales goals
Minimum Requirements
- Prior outside sales experience
- College degree in a related field preferred
- Ability to work some weekends and evenings
- Pass drug screening and background investigation (no felony convictions)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong presentation and listening skills
- Ability to treat others with respect and gain trust from subordinates and supervisors
- Exceedingly positive in his/her work attitude
- Polished and professional in demeanor and possess a strong work ethic
- Basic computer skills and proficiency (preferably with Google G-Suite)
- Valid DL, clean driving record and reliable transportation
