- Establish the location for the fence and gather information needed to ensure that there are no electrical cables or utility lines in the area
- Determine appropriate locations for operations and / or installation
- Align posts and verify alignment according to Superior Fence & Rail standards
- Measure and lay out fence lines and mark posthole positions, following instructions, drawings, or specifications
- Measure work-site dimensions and mark reference points accordingly
- Use appropriate equipment in a safe and secure manner
- Interact with customers in a pleasant and professional manner
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Previous fence installation experience required. Additional skills can be taught on the job or through internal training programs.
- Must be able to read plans and follow verbal instructions and obey applicable safety regulations.
- Must be able to lead a team of fence installers
- Must have a valid drivers license.
- Must be able to pass a background check (no felonies or sex offenses).
- Must be able to pass drug screening.
- Ability to learn Superior Fence & Rail policies and procedures.
- Must have a positive attitude with excellent customer service skills.
- Must be punctual and dependable.
Job Purpose
Superior Fence & Rail, is an industry leader with multiple branch locations across the USA. We partner with multiple home builders, and general contractors for fence installation requirements.
Work consists of building all types of commercial and residential fencing including vinyl, aluminum, wood, and chain-link. Typical work hours are from 6 : 45 am 6 : 00 pm Monday - Thursday and 6 : 45 am - 12 : 00 pm on Fridays (if needed).
