As the fire alarm technician, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the installation, troubleshooting and commissioning of fire alarm systems on large-scale construction projects.
position details/responsibilities…
- As the technical adviser on fire alarm systems programming and configuration, work with installation team and local fire marshal to ensure that all code requirements are met.
- Act as a liaison between the project team, other trades and customers, partnering with the superintendent and foremen to ensure production is on track.
- Work with local jurisdiction (fire marshal) to ensure code compliance.
- Utilize technology such as company-provided iPad and smartphone to ensure the job gets done on time, adheres to the blueprints and specifications, and exceeds customer expectations.

- A motivated electrical leader with a drive for results who is flexible and loves using technology and working with a team.
- At least one year of related work experience.
- Must be experienced with Microsoft Office Suite and have at least basic writing skills.
- As the subject matter expert for life safety and fire alarm systems in a region, must be willing to travel as required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
