Position : Director of Rehabilitation
Location : On-Site, some travel between South Shore Care Center and Valley View Manor

Essential Qualifications :
Bachelor of Science or Arts Degree, Master's Degree or an degree in an allied health field.
Assumes responsiblity for ongoing continuing education and professional developement.
Current state licensure and / or certification / registry, as required
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities :
Maintains a clinical caseload
Responsible for recruiting and retaining all rehabilitation service personnel.
Ensures effective orientation and on-the-job training for all rehabilitation service personnel.
Responsible for conducting performance appraisals of all rehabilitation service personnel.
Works with finance personnel in reconciling billing to ensure accuracy.
Reviews resident specific RUG category per assessment period.
Coordinates change in MDS data according to community procedure.
Monitors treatment minutes daily.
Perform all other duties as assigned and as required to effectively discharge the responsibilities of the position and are in the best interests of the organization.
