Accountant

Overview
Superior Industrial Equipment, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our Sycamore, IL team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accounts payable and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Duties

· Post ACH, Credit Card and Check payments into Accounting System

· Perform Remote Deposit

· Reconcile Monthly Credit Cards

· Verify and Process Expense Reports

· Cut checks for Accounts Payable

· Maintain Customer and Vendor Accounts

· Reconcile and process Credit Memos

· Audit costs on Repair and System projects for Commissions

· Perform daily Accounting System back-up

· Maintain Company Vehicle files and registration

· Misc. Tasks as necessary

Qualifications

· Associates Degree in Accounting/Bookkeeping preferred

· One to Two years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment

· Detail Oriented

· Proficiency in using Accounting Systems (Sage products a plus)

· Strong Math and Reconciliation Skills

· Proficient in Excel (sorting data, calculations, Pivot tables, etc.)

· Positive Attitude

· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
