We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our growing team at Superior Industrial Products. As a Sales Representative in the material handling industry, you will play a key role in promoting and selling our high-quality forklift parts, services, Rentals, and equipment. You will develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, while identifying new business opportunities and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate new leads and opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Identify customer needs and present tailored solutions using our range of forklift parts, services, and equipment.
- Provide accurate product information, quotes, and technical details to clients.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and objectives on a consistent basis.
- Collaborate with the service and parts departments to ensure smooth order processing and timely delivery of products and services.
- Conduct on-site visits and product demonstrations to showcase equipment and solutions.
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms to close sales effectively and profitably.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales activities, and opportunities in CRM software.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to provide the best solutions to customers.
- Provide excellent customer service and address any post-sale issues or concerns.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the material handling or industrial equipment industry.
- Strong knowledge of forklift equipment, parts, and services (or a willingness to learn).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport and trust with clients and provide tailored solutions to meet their needs.
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to meet and exceed sales goals.
- Proficient with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to travel to customer sites as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
