1. Surface Preparation: Sand spatter and rust, wipe down steel to remove oils and cutting fluids.
2. Painting Process: Apply paint to completed production jobs and sub-assemblies.
3. Equipment and Maintenance: Mix paint properly, use correct paint equipment settings and adjustments, and perform daily maintenance routines on paint equipment.
4. Quality Control: Identify and mask areas not to be painted, utilize proper paint application techniques, inspect paint jobs for quality issues like runs and missed areas.
5. Documentation: Maintain paint booth and complete necessary paperwork.
