What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver/Appliance Installer position at Superior Janitorial Services?
We are looking for a Delivery Driver to join our team to provide efficient and reliable deliveries of products such as, but not limited to: appliances, furniture, cabinetry, doors, windows, etc. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that deliveries are made on time and in accordance with company policies. This position requires a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift heavy items. Our Delivery Drivers must also be customer service-oriented, as they will be interacting with customers on a daily basis, friendly & accomodating, and professional in appearance and conduct. This position offers a flexible schedule- just as long as our customer recieves their daily deliveries as agreed upon.
Responsibilities:
- Drive a vehicle in a safe and responsible manner.
- Follow delivery instructions and timelines.
- Load and unload items from the vehicle.
- Communicate with customers regarding delivery status.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries.
- Adhere to traffic laws and safety regulations.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
