Superior Linen Service is hiring a Relief Route Service Representative to join our experienced sales & service team. This position will cover and assist our current Route Service Representatives with deliveries. The ideal employee will possess the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Report for work when scheduled and keep good attendance
· Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
· Load and unload truck for delivery
· Deliver products to customers in a timely fashion
· Communicate with customers as needed while covering route
· Work effectively with Route Service Representatives, Service Managers, and General Sales Manager to complete route work
· Follow instructions for route when covering
· Assist with running special orders
· Abide by all driving laws
· Follow company handbook, attendance policy, safety policies and other applicable guidelines issued by Superior Linen Service
· Assist with other route duties as outlined by management
QUALIFICAITONS:
· Valid Driver’s License
· Clean Driving Record
· The ability to effectively communicate with customers and coworkers
· Customer service or sales experience preferred
· Meet physical demands of route work, which include driving several hours per day, lifting product of 50 lbs or less at a time, pushing and pulling bins, and climbing in and out of trucks many times throughout the day

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
The position of Relief Route Service Representative is a union position with the Teamsters Local 117.
Typical schedule will be 4 ten-hour days, Monday – Friday. Day off each week will vary depending on the route being covered. Occasionally, a schedule of 5 eight-hour days will implemented depending on the needs of the business.
