Video Editor / Live Broadcast Technician

Job Overview:

Superior Livestock Auction is seeking a Video Editor and Live Broadcast Technician to assist with our online auction experience. This individual will be responsible for editing and live-streaming high-quality multimedia content, with a strong focus on video production for cattle auctions and related marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will be technically skilled in video editing, proficient in streaming technology, and experienced in creating content.

Key Responsibilities:

- Video Editing: Edit videos for cattle auctions (Windows environment), ensuring high-quality visuals and audio that highlight cattle and auction events.
- Live Auction Streaming: Set up, manage, and troubleshoot live streams of cattle auctions ensuring smooth, uninterrupted broadcasts with optimal video and audio quality for online bidders.
- Technical Setup & Maintenance: Oversee and maintain video production and streaming equipment, ensuring it is fully operational and prepared for both live events and recorded sessions.
- Event Coverage: Film and live stream on-location auction events, ensuring all aspects of the event are captured effectively for online participants.
- Innovation & Research: Stay updated on the latest video editing software, live streaming platforms, and trends in multimedia marketing, ensuring the company remains competitive and innovative in its approach.

Qualifications:

- 2 years of experience in video editing, multimedia production, and live streaming, preferably in an agricultural or auction environment.
- Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, etc.)
- Proficiency in live streaming platforms (OBS, YouTube Live, StreamYard, etc.) and technical setup for live events.
- Ability to work under pressure, especially during live events, with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with livestock and agricultural industry marketing is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
