GENERAL SUMMARY
Responsible for review/callback of new loan bookings, renewals, monetary transactions, maintenance, and other loan servicing activities, including complex loan products. Ensure loan servicing activity follows established procedures, data entry is accurate, and proper support is obtained.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Comprehensive understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to loan servicing, including but not limited to state licensing, 1098/1099 reporting, S&P guidelines, and insurance compliance.
- Experience managing external audits, including those conducted by firms like Armanino, and responding to inquiries from regulatory bodies such as CFPB.
- Familiarity with handling affidavits, managing lender complaints, and special projects as required.
- Proficiency in managing and mitigating legal risks associated with loan portfolios, excluding cases in bankruptcy or foreclosure which are handled separately.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and ensure timely completion of all quality control activities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with internal teams, external auditors, legal advisors, and regulatory bodies.
- Must be familiar with Conventional, Freddie/Fannie loans and compliance guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of quality control operations related to loan servicing, ensuring compliance with company policies, legal standards, and industry regulations.
- Manage the preparation and submission of reports for state licensing requirements and annual S&P assessments.
- Coordinate responses to external audits, special requests, and inquiries from lenders, regulatory bodies, and legal advisors.
- Supervise the handling of 1098/1099 reporting and ensure accuracy and timeliness in tax-related compliance activities.
- Monitor insurance coverage for the company and ensure all policies are up-to-date and in compliance with contractual obligations.
- Handle unique cases such as late notices, balloon notices, and refund checks, ensuring proper communication with affected parties.
- Collaborate with the legal team on legal matters related to loan servicing operations, excluding cases in bankruptcy or foreclosure.
- Serve as a point of contact for media complaints and manage resolution in accordance with company policies and legal guidelines.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Legal Studies, or a related field required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control, compliance, or operations within the financial services industry, particularly in loan servicing or mortgage lending.
Skills:

Salary : $65,000 - $80,000
