We are Medical Scribe company operating in various emergency departments and specialty clinics (Interventional Radiology, Orthopedics, and Family/Internal Medicine) in San Jose, Gilroy, and Fremont, CA . WE ARE CURRENTLY SEEKING FOR PRE-MEDICAL/PRE-HEALTH/RECENT GRADUATES TO FILL OUR POSITION OF PART-TIME MEDICAL SCRIBE IN OUR ORTHOPEDIC CLINIC in FREMONT, CA with the following schedule:
Mondays and Thursdays from 9:00AM - 6:00PM
Alternating Tuesdays from 9:00AM - 6:00PM
This position can come with opportunities of working in the Emergency Department at a later time, if interested.

Responsibilities and Duties
Medical scribes are expected to:
- Create and maintain patient's encounter in the electronic medical record.
- Document patient's History of Present Illness
- Document patient's Physical Exam as dictated by the attending medical provider
- Document patient's imaging (XRs, CTs, US, MRIs) and laboratory studies
- Have a solid understanding of common medical terminology
- Understand the rapid pace and department flow of the ER
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $18.00 - $20.00 /hour
Qualifications
- Proficiency in medical terminology
- Experience in medical office settings
- Familiarity with EMR and EHR systems
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Skilled in medical transcription and documentation
- Typing proficiency
- Understanding of medical records management
- ER experience is a plus
