What You'll Do:
- Work with Engineers: Assist with data collection, process trials, and developing new methods to improve operations.
- Analyze & Document: Review and summarize test results, maintaining meticulous records for easy review.
- Continuous Improvement: Support our drive for excellence by finding internal and external opportunities for process optimization.
- Collaborate with Shop Floor Teams: Help create routings and process instructions, ensuring they are clear and up-to-date.
- Technical Writing: Prepare reports and technical notes to document process improvements and solutions to challenges.
- Critical Thinking: Use your problem-solving skills to assist with root cause analysis and process improvements.
What We Need From You:
- Education: Must be pursuing a Mechanical, Electrical (Automation), Metallurgical, or Chemical degree from an accredited program - with at least 2 years of coursework under your belt.
- Skills: You know your way around Microsoft Office and are eager to learn.
- Interpersonal Skills: You can communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with engineers and shop floor personnel.
- Team-Oriented Mentality: You're ready to work as part of a team, contributing your ideas and learning from others to achieve shared goals.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to handle light lifting (up to 50 lbs) and stand or walk for about half of your workday.
- Drive: You have an enthusiasm for engineering and a willingness to dive into real-world challenges.
