Maintenance Technician (3rd Shift) - Sign-on Bonus Offered

We also offer competitive compensation with overtime opportunities readily available. JOB SUMMARY Perform intermediate skilled maintenance tasks on state-of-the-art equipment. Job duties include troubleshooting and repairing foundry equipment using standard Maintenance skills. Perform regular scheduled preventative maintenance tasks. Other maintenance duties depending on company and departmental needs. Salary Range : $25.09 - $43.56 / hr (Additional $3 shift differential on all hours worked) Shift : 11PM - 7 : 30AM $1,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Monitor machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine. Lays out, assembles, installs, maintains, and repairs pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. Assembles and installs electronic control systems for production machinery and associated automated equipment’s gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment. Perform preventive maintenance per schedule. Communicate with operators pre- and post-repair. Interact with operators to troubleshoot, repair and test equipment. Communicate with Team Leader and / or Maintenance Supervisor on major repair needs discovered. Complete, sign and submit work orders. Complete safety checklist on all work. Complete order list of equipment and supplies to be ordered. Review new equipment standard issues. Follow lock-out, tag out procedures. Housekeeping around the plant as necessary. QUALIFICATIONS Education : Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspond with co-workers and suppliers / vendors. Ability to read and interpret Electrical Pneumatic and Piping Schematics. Other Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities : General knowledge of trades with quality experience in each. Skilled in use of standard mechanical hand tools. Good interpersonal skills. Good follow-up skills. Ability to troubleshoot. WORKING ENVIRONMENT Shop Floor : Manufacturing environment. Required PPE : Check for required PPE in areas you may be working in Safety Glasses : Needed in all areas of the plant. Steel toe shoes : Needed in all areas of the plant.
