Job Description: As a Summer Engineering Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the manufacturing process and working closely with our engineering team to improve our processes. Your responsibilities will include assisting with data collection, process trials, and developing new methods to improve operations. You will also analyze and document test results, maintain meticulous records for easy review, and collaborate with shop floor teams to create routings and process instructions.
Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you must be pursuing a Mechanical, Electrical (Automation), Metallurgical, or Chemical degree from an accredited program, with at least 2 years of coursework under your belt. You should have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Additionally, you must be able to handle light lifting (up to 50 lbs) and stand or walk for about half of your workday.
